Expanding the horizons of your research and exploration

Using ZEISS Xradia Versa Series

X-Rays have been widely used in the medical field for imaging and understanding sub-cutaneous problems in human fraternity in 3D space without invasive investigation. This is achieved owing to its high penetrating power, shorter wavelength and ionizing capabilities.

In this talk, we will see how this technique is adopted in the field of material sciences and life sciences, helping the researchers understand the interior details such as microstructure, porosity, defects etc., without destructing or sizing-down the sample of interest making it a true Non-Destructive Technique amongst several other microscopy options available. Applications include use cases from Material Science/Metallurgy, Developmental Biology, Semiconductors, Geosciences etc;

Sub-micron imaging using Resolution At A Distance (RAAD)

Extend the limits of non-destructive imaging
